THE ROLE - C++ Developer with strong academic background required
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £25,000-£30,000
Benefits Package: Excellent
Reporting to: Software Team Leader
Serious C++ developers required to join an established team in Edinburgh. You will be responsible for working with a Senior Developer on designated software features, taking responsibility for providing solutions to complex problems. Implementation, testing and documentation skills are all required.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a specialist software development centre, they have a strong track record in providing a dynamic and challenging working environment where ability and commitment is rewarded with technical and career progression.
EXPERIENCE
We require a strong C++ Developer; Experience of working with at least one object oriented programming language, preferably C++.
Ability to work comfortably with multiple coordinate spaces, and transform between them is essential, this requires a strong academic background.
Ability to take responsibility for delivering simple product features, in all their related aspects (specification, design, estimation, coding, testing, documentation, support).
Familiarity with modern software engineering techniques, such as agile programming.
Candidates MUST have a degree in computer science or mathematics and be comfortable with dealing with complex problems and advanced mathematics/algorithms.
