Infrastructure Support Analyst
Salary - 18-24K plus benefits
Location - Edinburgh
THE COMPANY
FPSG's client, an award winning software development company with it's head office in Edinburgh are currently seeking an Infrastructure Support Analyst.
THE ROLE
This role will primarily be responsible for the day to day support and maintenance of the windows and server infrastructure in the company.
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop their skills across a range of systems in an integral role with an organisation which prides itself on technical excellence.
You would be joining at a critical time in our expansion and we are offering the chance to make a significant contribution to the direction of the client.
ABOUT YOU
You will have a minimum of 2 years face to face experience in a support role working for a small - medium sized organisation.
You have been interested in computing from a young age.
You are ideally a graduate in Computer Science or a related subject.
You dont give up when you run out of options working on a problem, you back up and look outside the box.
You work well in a team environment.
You recognise that thinking before acting is crucial.
You want to work for a company where your voice is heard, your suggestions get implemented and your solutions make a difference to the bottom line.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Experience in the deployment and support of Microsoft technologies including any/all of XP, Vista, IE, Office, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, IIS, SQL, Sharepoint, VPN, DHCP, MSMQ and ISA.
Preferably you will hold an MCP, MCSA or MCSE.
