Job Description

My client, a leading Financial Services organisation in Edinburgh has an urgent requirement for Senior Business Analysts who are also Qualified Accountants to work on a major change Programme of Work Key Responsibilities of the Role include to: Undertake feasibility studies, business requirement gathering, impact/gap analysis and scenario planning to define or modify the scope of projects where appropriate Manage business analysis activities in line with project schedule to deliver quality business solutions within agreed timescales and budget Co-ordinate and/or undertake the acquisition and analysis of data to identify business issues and opportunities as required. Manage business analysis activities for single projects or components of larger projects that are multi-discipline Manage provision of high quality detailed analysis, design and build processes to achieve agreed development objectives Use specialist knowledge and/or experience of business areas or products to ensure all relevant information is available to guide design and implementation activities Supervises development of training for solution Co-ordinate the testing of business solutions and ensure they conform to business requirement, becoming involved in higher level testing where necessary Lead meetings and workshops within the area and/or with representatives from other relevant business areas We are looking for candidates with the following: Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant with good understanding of Reporting processes Significant experience of working within a project environment with a proven ability to work on own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions Process modelling through the use of analytical tools including Datamodelling tools and structured analytical techniques Proven understanding of Project Management Frameworks, documentation standards, Project Lifecycle planning Relationship management, strong Project Management methodologies and workshop facilitation Competent use of Microsoft Office If this is you please apply now!
