Job Description

A large asset management company is recruiting a Change Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

Working within the IT team, you will perform a project manager role on a number of IT projects within the company portfolio. In addition you will co-ordinate the small change process, where you will be required to manage a small team to deliver multiple small business initiatives.

  • €¢ Take ownership of projects applying project management standards within established control and monitoring procedures bringing a pro-active, positive approach to IT project delivery

  • €¢ Work with external and internal stakeholders to enable successful delivery of projects within budget, time and business expectations

  • €¢ Identify and manage risks and issues to ensure delays and difficulties are avoided

  • €¢ Use excellent communication skills to present and report on progress against plans

  • €¢ Promote a strong team environment that encourages challenge and learning and helps the business to introduce change effectively and positively

  • €¢ Manage, monitor and control all budgets in accordance with Group guidelines, reporting adverse variances and taking corrective action where appropriate

  • €¢ Take ownership of the small change process and develop strong working relationships with the business sponsors to ensure successful delivery of initiatives

  • €¢ Participate in the prioritisation of resources and budgets to meet objectives

Candidates will have proven project management experience along with experience of working with 3rd party vendors. Strong knowledge of the FS industry is required and detailed knowledge of Investment Management is desirable.

Candidates will have a professional attitude and proactive approach along with an ability to think strategically and see the big picture. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must.
