Job Description
Our client, a prestigious investment management firm is recruiting a talented Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The role holder will report to the Data Governance Manager within the Chief Technology Office (CTO). The departmental function of the CTO is to provide Business Technology, Process, Identity & Access Management, Testing and Data Governance expertise to the company. In addition, the team provides technical strategy and governance for all IT provision coming into the company both from internal and 3rd party providers. The role of the team in ensuring robust & appropriate IT provision and adherence to standards and policies is fundamental to the success of the company.
Responsibilities:
’ Examine business problems and help identify potential solutions that support the company\' s data architecture strategy
’ Articulate business challenges and process improvements
’ Identify & manage project resources
’ Manage project risks and issues
’ Build effective working relationships with business/change stakeholders, IT & external suppliers alike
’ Ensure the solutions delivered add value and meet customer needs/expectations
’ Articulate clear benefits for all change undertaken
Requirements:
’ Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager with significant practical experience within an Investment Management company
’ Business analysis and project management methodologies and approaches
’ Practical experience of working with 3rd parties
’ Experience of undertaking detailed/complex data analysis
’ Practical experience of project management tools and techniques in a range of environments
’ Degree level qualification β any discipline
’ Experience in working in a deadline-driven environment
’ The ability to communicate & influence across a broad range of audience types
