Job Description

Leading Asset Management firm are currently looking for a career minded individual from a professional background to join their Institutional Client department as a Trainee Client Services Manager.

The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient liaison between the firm and their client by keeping clients well informed on their portfolio and to ensure reporting requirements are met. A structured development plan will be put in place to ensure the successful candidate gains a full understanding of the role and department and are able to communicate credibly on investment process. Over time the Trainee Client Services Manager will take on increased client contact to include regular client meetings, presentations, business development activities and client reporting.

For this role my client is seeking applications from candidates who have 2 years post qualification experience in a professional position such as law, actuarial or accountancy who have a keen interest in financial markets and client management. Alternatively they will consider applications from candidates with excellent academics who are currently working within the asset management sector who are keen to build a career in Institutional Client Services. As this role works with International clients a commitment to regular overseas travel is required.
