| Project Architect urgently required for Edinburgh based private practice in the South of Edinburgh. With a great combination of design conscious and commercially practical architecture they seek someone due to a major increase in workload. This exciting career opportunity has arisen to work on projects ranging across a variety of sectors for both refurbishment and new build projects. The office has a professional feel without the trappings of a large commercial private practice and employs a number of talented designers. The practice has projects completed and ongoing in the commercial sectors including; bars, restaurants and office developments. In this role you will be working within an organisation that has experience working on projects with a focus on listed buildings and churches. You would initially be working on fit-out and refurbishment projects for a major corporate client, however the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects exists for committed candidates. You will ideally have an understanding of commercial architecture for office buildings as well as knowledge in the application of Scottish National Building Regulations. Other attributes you will have include; -Part III Qualification -Conversancy with Microstation / AutoCAD -Presentation Ability -Design/Technical Ability -Office experience This is a great opportunity to work within one of Edinburgh's leading practices on a long-term project expected to run for at least 8-months.
