Excellent potential to offer career development and exciting job opportunities. THE ROLE We are looking for a strong database developer to join an existing esblished team. The role involves working closely with business analysts and our customers to help define requirements and implement solutions which constantly deliver further business value. As a member of the development team working on the application, you would be involved in the full software development lifecycle with responsibility for build, deployment, and technical support of the system. There is a strong focus on delivery and this would be the measure of your success in the role. In addition to the Oracle technologies utilised in this challenging role, several leading edge tools are being employed to report on and visualise the data, which means there is significant breadth in the scope of your work. THE SKILLS Essential Experience: Oracle and PL/SQL Oracle Forms 6i Some exposure to: .NET 2.0/3.0/3.5 - Visual Studio 2005/2008 C#/WinForms Experience of XML and Office 2007/XML would also be advantageous but are not prerequisites for the position. Experience of the investment management industry would be advantageous (especially fixed income, derivatives, forwards, FX and cash management).
