A unique opportunity has arisen to be part of an exciting Events Department. We are looking for a friendly and well-experienced administrator with excellent organisational and PC skills.
You will come from a strong hospitality/retail background and possess a professional and mature outlook. Positive and energetic, you will have excellent customer service skills as you will be liaising with people at all levels such as contractors, internal managers and high profile clients. You will be highly capable of multi-tasking, working under pressure and meeting high standards, attention to detail is essential.
The primary role for the successful candidate will be to assist the Manager and the Events Department with key responsibilities for organising, co-ordinating and administering many aspects of all events. The ability to get on well with others, working as part of a team and prioritise work from multiple sources is essential. You will also be happy to work on your own initiative, assisting where required without being prompted.
The experienced administrative skills required will include advanced use in Microsoft Word, Access and Excel. You will also be responsible for maintaining databases. Experience of servicing committees would be an advantage although not essential.
