Our client is a leading Building Contractor they are looking to recruit a Junior Estimator for their Newbridge office. Company hours are 8am to 5pm. They typically work on projects from £6-13 million (refurbishment and new build projects). Current projects include a retails park in Hamilton, University and Museum work. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Senior Estimator. You will work with the team of estimators and assist them in the estimating process on contracts varying from design and build to traditional bills of quantities and have an input into, bids and proposals documentation.
The key experience and skills for the role are:
Demonstrate understanding of estimating
Knowledge and experience of invoicing
Knowledge of the operational and commercial / contractual terms
Administration experience
Excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and work with a multi-discipline team of both internal and external partners
